Monday Mixups!

I like alliteration. I guess it just seems catchy to me when it’s used as a title. Although, I will agree sometimes it can be overdone. Since I have not been recieving freebies in the mail as of late, I decided to change our Monday Freebies to Monday Mixups! Satunday Surprises came to mind as well, to be a weekend Saturday/Sunday thing, but I thought why not just make the original Monday Freebies into a potpourri of things!

For our first one, I present to you Ramune! This is a delicious Japanese soda drink with plenty of bubbles and a pop of flavor!

I had never tried one of these before I met my husband. He took me to a store that sells Japanese merchandise in our city and I fell in love. It took a few visits to actually try it. But after one sip, I was sold. Imagine our soda in America, but a bit more carbonated and with other flavors. My favorite is the strawberry! Not only is the color nice, but so is the taste. 😛

Opening it is not quite the same either. Here we just grab a bottle, take hold of the cap, twist and pull off, then drink it. When you find a bottle of Ramune, you’ll notice the top has a plastic piece to it. The center will pop out and look kinda like a “T” from the side. Put it on top of the cap, push down hard, and voici! The marble blocking the opening will pop out and allow you to drink! Pretty cool, huh? Have no fear, however. The marble is not small enough to fall out into your mouth. I think it’s a nice looking marble. If American soda is not your thing due to the carbonation, then I wouldn’t recommend this one for you. It is very bubbly.

There you have it, our first Monday Mixup! I hope this will be fun for you as it is a bit of a surprise each week. See you next Monday!

Until next time…

About Three Handed Mommy

Mother of one, wife to one. Hoping for more children in the future but so far I'm a three handed mommy. One hand is in school, another in loving my family, the last is on here (and all that comes with it). I love origami and I doodle once in a blue moon. Maybe I will share some drawings, both old and new. I have a slight obsession with Hatake Kakashi, Batman, rubber duckies, pandas, and Pokemon. Then again, my obsession may prove to be more than slight on more than one occassion...don't judge. :P Since this is new and all to me, please bear with me while I find my rhythm and posting habits. Hope you enjoy what I put up here! Feel free to pin anything unless stated otherwise in a post. :)
